You don't have gold yet? The hatchling was a replacement for a lost gold Dorkface someone gave me. The other one, I finally bred my own gold Dorkface. After so long of trying, I now have two! I hope to pay Universe back by spreading the gold love.
No. Not a one. The only ones I have seen have been in the abandoned area, probably as part of a trade. I have yet to see a gold during a drop, but then I don't watch the drops 24/7 so I probably have missed seeing all of those.
I've never seen one dropped in the cave either, but a good friend gave me a caveborn gold as a gift. I'm sorry to hear you've never gotten one at all! Let me know when you're unlocked, and I'll breed you one.
