How do you do the blending around the edges of his picture like that? I've been trying to figure out how to do that...

In the first one, I just used a soft brush to erase the parts of the overlaying texture that were over his face. In the second and third, I used the polygonal lasso tool to select what I wanted to keep, then smoothed the line (select > modify > smooth > 1px) and deleted everything outside of the selection. Hmm, hunting down the right cap is proving more difficult than I thought. But one day I'll have an appropriately humorous icon to tell people how great they are. Until then it'll have to be the usual icons :)
