Is this vine an alt?? And WTF happened to my split? Before he got wings his heads were diffrent colours?! Is the split an alt too?

The split always turns just one color, usually if it's female, it will turn the color of it's mother, or if it's male the color of it's father, or if it has no parents, I guess it's random. The vines will turn your hatchling into this (http://dragcave.net/view/n/Valiamorvayon) I think.

Also, do you know... if I freeze the vine, will it free up the space on my scroll to accept another hatchling or do I have to set it free?

the splits turn one color when they gender, dark blue for males, light blue for females.

freezing hatchlings does free up the space. You can keep posting so it can get it's wings.

Actually, male splits are dark and female are light.

No way to tell if the vine is an alt or not.
