Two rather amusing incidents happened to me and a co-worker this week which we are blaming on our obsession of Supernatural. We joked today that we should ban ourselves from watching for a while and then just shrugged that suggestion off because like that'll happen :)
I work as a Legal Assistant in the Legal Department for a bank. One of the matters I have been assisting a Paralegal with we refer to as the "S---/W--- matter" - so today I needed to send her an email update on the issue. I ended up referring to it as the "S----/Winchester matter" only I didn't realize I'd done so until after I sent the email. I had to quickly send another saying "Ooops, I meant W---, not Winchester, I don't know where my mind is" - okay not true but she doesn't need to know that ;)
When I relayed this story to a co-worker who I've yanked with me into this obsession she told me that I was forgiven, that on Friday she was searching our employee directory trying to locate someone with the first name of Dean. This was someone who's department has literally been moved around the country several times and she couldn't find him listed. She was getting frustrated until she realized she was looking for "Dean Winchester." I asked her to let me know when she found him since little brother couldn't be too far behind ;)
