Robert Pattinson, who stars as the century-old vampire Edward Cullen in the upcoming big-screen adaptation of Twilight, told SCI FI Wire that he didn't feel beholden to any previous depictions or interpretations of vampires and explained that he chose to play Edward more as a diseased human than an otherworldly bloodsucker. On January 23, 2009, the Sci Fi Channel will begin airing repeats of "Invasion" at 8 p.m ET and "Moonlight" at 9 p.m. ET, according to the Futon Critic. These shows will be followed by "Battlestar Galactica" at 10 p.m. ET.
The short-lived vampire series "Moonlight" spurred a huge fan backlash when CBS canceled the series after just one season last May. "Moonlight" the complete series will be released on DVD on Jan. 20, 2009.
