Vampire character Dahlia 'plays' nice in 'Dying for Daylight'

Sookie Stackhouse may command the spotlight on the hit HBO series True Blood, but a lesser character among best-selling author Charlaine Harris' supernatural brood is set to star in a new computer game.
Dahlia Lynley-Chivers, a vampire who appeared in several of Harris' short stories, is the protagonist in Dying for Daylight, a new downloadable PC game (out Friday, $19.95 individually or $6.95-$9.95 depending on subscription, iplay.com). It's the latest interactive game based on works by authors including F. Scott Fitzgerald, Agatha Christie, James Patterson and Nora Roberts, created for downloadable game site I-play.
Despite the swarm of vampires infesting the Twilight books and films and TV series such as True Blood and The Vampire Diaries, a true video game spinoff is yet to emerge.
