Date: 2009-04-16 06:35 pm (UTC)i wouldn't worry about the clicks, really - the FAQ says "It is entire possible for an egg to hatch with 0 clicks. This doesn't mean that clicks don't help your dragon, but they simply aren't necessary."
i have proof of this (http://community.livejournal.com/the_hatchery/253778.html), and my younger daughter also has a Zero-Click Winter Dragon (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v495/Trystan830/winter_adult.jpg) as well.
the other thing is - if i give your eggs a click, that's it for clicks from my IP address. it's one click per sprite per IP address - for the life of the sprite. so if my click counts today, it doesn't after that, no matter how many times i click.

Date: 2009-04-16 06:47 pm (UTC)After having only one or two clicks for three days I got worried they weren't counting. Thanks so much for the comment though I feel so much better knowing I can grow them up with no clicks. I can be less anxious :D

Date: 2009-04-16 07:03 pm (UTC)the thing to do is to start about a week before and take links to your scroll down - here, any other comms, if you post at the forum, if you have it checked on your scroll to display your scroll name - you don't want anyone to see your scroll link. if you're accepting aid, i'd turn that off for the time being too. and don't post it in fansites, you'll get clicks there too.
and then when you post just the image, you'll get comments like "your coding on the egg is broke, i can't click!" i'd just smile and tell myself, good, you're not supposed to click. LOL.
