Good afternoon everyone, Moeko here with the dragons and the silliness, and a mild quandry. Does anyone know how to cook an artichoke when the steamer I'd normally use is broken? Can you do them on the stove some how (I don't have a double boiler or a metal colander) or peel the petals off and cook them separately? Help!

Dear Diary:
Another weird thing happened today! I have wings now and I can fly! Well, sort of fly. I keep crashing into things and bumping my snout. Stupid place to leave a tree anyway. That pink cloud got bigger. I still can't get away from it even when I fly as fast as I can, it keeps up with me! My pet human seems to be having trouble staying on task whenever I'm around. She is very silly.
