Does anyone know if this film starring Sebastian has ever been released in a format usable in the U.S.? I know there are ways to rip a PAL dvd into NTSC format, but I'm leery of downloading the software that claims it can do this task.

I'd certainly like to see it, even though Sebastian has a secondary role. Here's the trailer:

i know i have it on a video tape that someone copied for me many moons ago... i don't even know what the quality looks like anymore...

I'm thinking this film is going to be next to impossible to find in a U.S. format. I'm going to wait and see if someone can tell me which software to use to change the PAL format. Then I'll get a PAL DVD and go from there.

It seems to me that "Ice Blues" was released in PAL format before it was released in the U.S. and Canada. Now that makes no sense to me at all.

I have this on DVD but its a region 4 - which is Australia. I have a multiregion player which is how I watch it on TV. Bought it cos it had both Sebastian Spence and Peter Stebbings in.

I'll probably have to invest in a multi-format player. But that means I can get a lot of movies that aren't available here in the U.S.

I have this on DVD. I think it has Japanese writing on it, but I did get it from Amazon so I do not think it's a bootleg. It's in good shape and quality looks like any other movie. Maybe you could try amazon and see if any are for sale directly from them or from someone who wants to sell it as used.

Not one of my favorites that I would watch over and over again as I have with some of his other movies, but as a fan, of course you want to see it. He certainly has done a wide array of movies: drama, comedy, etc.

The only ones I've found so far come from Region 2, so that means I can't play them on my DVD player. I'm still hopeful of finding one somewhere, though.

It is fun hunting down his movies. I'd like to hunt down more TV appearances, too, but those are harder to find.
