Sebastian did a 9-episode turn on the Canadian TV show G-Spot in which he played a man seeking a sex-change operation. But that's putting it mildly because so far, the role is much more than that. He's a man who wants this new life but is desperately afraid to leave his old life behind, a life that included a wife and a daughter. I've only seen three of his episodes so far, but I'm looking forward to the rest of them.

Kimberly Huie, the woman who plays his ex-wife (I'm not clear on whether they actually are divorced) is superb in the role. Since she kept him away from their daughter I wanted to see her as the bad guy in this, but the way she plays the part gives me a chance to understand her anger and uncertainty.

This show is a comedy, by the way, full of beautiful, interesting characters whose chief talents seem to be screwing up their personal lives. And they do a LOT of screwing — fair warning. So far, I like them all a lot more than I thought I would.

But my opinions aren't what you came to see. Here's Sebastian as Paul/Paulette:

He looks stunning in pink, simply stunning (with Kimberly Huie):

I'm pretty sure he shaved his magnificent chest hair for this one:

Waiting to see his daughter, right before he's supposed to have his operation:

Although it's blurry, this is a great shot. That hug went on for quite a while.

You can watch all of the show's episodes for free on hulu.com. As soon as I've capped them all, I'll post a link to a mediafire folder.
