And the season premier blew me away by opening up with a flashback of Peggy Carter, Dum Dum Dugan, and Jim Morita taking out a HYDRA base after the events of Captain America. Here's a gifset of part of the scene.

Part of why I'm excited is I want the Howling Commandos to be a part of the new Agent Carter series, but haven't heard if they'll be part of the cast or just drop in for cameos. Does anyone have any news?

Haven't heard anything yet. According to the last "spoilers", the series is going to take place before the one-shot.

BUT... they've added Dominic to the cast, so who really knows.

I haven't seen it yet, simply because EVERYTHING is on Tuesdays and the DVR only will tape two things at the same time. Sadly.. SHIELD isn't as high on the list as the other things...

So I might as well keep my ignore the spoilers filter in place. ;) It's okay, I just thought somebody might have some info from an interview I missed.

SHIELD had a rough first season, but more shows have that than not so I stuck with it. The momentum picked up from Captain America 2 is still going strong two episodes into this season. So I recommend picking it up later on Netflix or DVD.

When did Tuesdays get so popular? Granted I've cut WAY down on my TV viewing. Of the eleven series I put on the Episode calendar: 2 shows I quit (and I need to take them off the list), 2 shows I stopped getting thanks to cable not carrying BBC America, and 3 shows I missed so many episodes I have to start collecting DVDs and binge watch from the beginning. :p

Well, I only say spoilers because it was an article about the spinoff. It wasn't really anything Earth-shattering.

It was a typical Joss-show. Takes half a season to start getting traction, partially because they had to covertly set up the movie, then it just took off.
