Summary: It’s been several weeks since the accident and the death of John Winchester, but Dean and Sam have managed to keep moving despite their grief. They stayed with Bobby, Dean restored the Impala, and they busied themselves with cases, including a puzzling one involving a coven of vampires, which unexpectedly turned out to not be a malicious group but seemingly a new breed of docile “fangs” eager to blend in with and live harmoniously with humans. Dean, after struggling to adjust his moral compass upon discovering the truth about the vampires, and coming to blows with Sam over their conflicting ways of handling their grief over John’s death, still has a raging fire burning within him…Meanwhile, Sam and Dean’s friend, Dru, may face consequences for delving into occult magick after fulfilling a request John made of her shortly before his demise…
