I guess so, I've never seen an alt hatchling before. It's kind of funny because I always hear about people doing mass breeding to get one, all I did was grab an egg off the abandoned page. Now I have to get a normal vine. I'm sure the previous owner is cursing me now @_@

ok, I dont know if you have seen the grown up ALT vine... one of my drags relatives owners has one:

from what i can tell is the alt babies are usually darker and have yellow flowers instead of the red, but im not positive. I cant find the relative that has frozen hatchlings in every state. The person i was looking for has like 20 silvers 20 golds and seems like she has multiple breeding couples of everything breedable. I was jealous when i sae that particular scroll :P

as for your vine, take him over to dragon_er and they will get him grown up in less than an hour. I'll go do a few refreshes and pitch in. My little blacks all have at least one alt parent, so im hoping for the best on my little black egg. I want to stick to caveborn eggs when i start breeding, but for now, i will be happy if everyone grows up first :P
