While I was looking through the remnents of the camp, a wild Magi dragon landed in the clearing along with a wild guardian dragon.

"Hello, Orlando! I am pleased to meet you! And you too, Ward! What brings you out your caves today?"

"GREETINGS MY LADY! I BRING NEWS. JASPER AND HIS FAMILY HAVE MANAGED TO STOP THE GEORGISTS FROM ENTERING THE LAG RANGE. THERE HAVE BEEN SOME CASUALTIES, BUT THEY ARE BEING CARED FOR BY WHITE DRAGONS. HE HAS POSTED A 24/7 WATCH ON THE PASS TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY STAY GONE."

"That is such a relief. Thank you for letting me know."

"BUT THAT ISN'T EVERYTHING. YOU AND I ARE GOING TO HAVEN TO GET YOUR SUPPLIES. WARD WILL STAY HERE AND WATCH YOUR CHILDREN, THE HATCHLINGS AND THE EGGS."

I was dumbfounded by this. "But how can you enter Haven? I have been told that they will kill dragons on sight."

Orlando just smiled. I heard him chanting a spell. Before my startled eyes, he morphed into an old man, completely and appropriately dressed also.

"THE ONE THING THAT I CANNOT DO IS SPEAK AS YOU DO. BUT WE CAN GO AS FATHER AND DAUGHTER. YOU CAN TELL THE HAVENERS THAT I AM VERY OLD AND DEAF. I WILL PUT ON A GOOD SHOW FOR THEM." He laughed.

"THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TIME THAT I HAVE TAKEN THIS FORM. SOMETIMES IT IS GOOD TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE UP TO, SO THAT DRAGONKIND CAN BE PREPARED."

"What a good thing! Thank you for helping us!"

I introduced my children and hatchlings to Ward and told them to follow his instructions while I was gone.

And with that, Orlando and I walked off towards Haven.
