Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are already on-board HBO's vampire series

THE SKINNY: Alexander Skarsgard has joined the cast of TRUE BLOOD, HBO's and Alan Ball's vampire series, announced The Hollywood Reporter. The new drama based on Charlaine Harris' SOUTHERN VAMPIRE book series already stars Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin.
BLOOD centers on the love story between Moyer's character 'Bill', and Paquin's character, a waitress who can read people's minds.
Skarsgard, who recently finished the HBO miniseries GENERATION KILL, about the invasion of Iraq, will be a regular on BLOOD, playing a thousand-year-old Viking.
Ball is the prolific creator of SIX FEET UNDER and the Academy Award winning AMERICAN BEAUTY.
