Hey all! trystan830 invited me to come on by and post this little thing I'm working on. 'Tin Man' is just one of my obsessions.

Summary: Pre-series. Wyatt Cain, the son of a cattle rancher joins the Police Academy in Central City.

Disclaimer: I don’t own Tin Man or the characters. I wish I did because then it would be a series. This is purely for fun and I’m not making a penny off of this.
A/N: I took some liberties with Wyatt’s background and this is purely from my own imagination. I took a lot of information about Police Academies from various cities across the country and from that; the Central City Police Academy was born. I blame this picture of Neal McDonough at the actor boot camp from Band of Brothers for this story. In this story the use of the title ‘Tin Man’ is a slang term, but not demeaning in anyway. This is a WIP.

I would like to thank my wonderful betas erinm_4600, buffybot76 and neefalco. They really helped me make this the best it can be and as close to Police Academy life as possible.

i first watched Labyrinth... well, i think it might have been a few years after it came out.. maybe? so i was in high school... maybe college. all i remembered were the songs (i love David Bowie and "Magic Dance") and the Goblin King (i love David Bowie).

and then in December (2007) Tin Man came out, and well, comparisons all around - hedgemaze included. so i got the movie from the library, and watched - and capped - last night. (i still love David Bowie - and not just for the tight pants *wink*)
