THE SKINNY: Vampires are all the rage. The winner of the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival was Sweden's Tomas Alfredson's LAT DEN RATTE KOMMA IN (LET THE RIGHT ONE IN), about first love between a boy and the vampire next door, announced Variety.

The festival, started by Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal, has grown to become almost as high profile as Sundance. This year 120 features and 80 shorts screened from 40 countries.( Read more... )
