this is from the Forum:

danacc posted "Sun___ eggs are reported to hatch between 6am and noon, or between 6pm and midnight, EDT. In between these time slots, they will not hatch no matter how high their counts are, and no matter how little time they have left."

meant to post this yesterday.... but just an FYI if you have sun eggs.

*smiles* Yeah... I was sure it would ahve hatched out by now, as I checked ti this morning, but the site seems t be ahving some issues...^^; I managed to get to my scroll, but every time I try to click on my eggies or hatchie, I get a page load error...^^; I can't even get into the cave. I'm glad I still have 3 days & change left to get everyone hatched/grown up, so it's not so critical. *finds everyone seems to get their acts together once they hit 2 days 23 hours* ;p Then again, I was hoping for a sunrise, especially since I bred that eggie in the morning. *sighs*

yeah, that sounds about right these days....

page load errors are not so good though....

yup... But they've been doing that for a while, & I figured it was cuz I ahd a lot of dragons, so the more I got the longer it would take for them to hatch/grow. So maybe it's more a site thing? It does seem like more people are playing.

No, they're not. ^^; I've been scrolling through my fpage & every hatchie/eggie had been replaced with "adopt one today."

it could be a site-thing, but i think it's a programming thing - i've seen people on the forums mention the time for hatching or growing up is from 3d23h left to 2d23h left.

That's what I meant by a site thing. It doesn't bother me that much, cuz I know by now that they will hatch/grow even if they do look like I need to stick them in the ER. In fact every time I get ready to do that, they always grow up or hatch on me. XD I once had them all grow up right after I made the ER post. ^^; Very embarrassing... XD


yeah... *sighs* the good thing is, TJ gives back the time that was lost due to the site being down. I also wonder if it ahs anything to do with the holiday & everyone freaking out about the dragons cuz they ahven't looked at them over the weekend & it's overloading the server. The DC fansite is also down & I was thinking that might have been the reason for it.

It seems to be working, I was able to look at my hatchie, but it very SLOW going...^^; That's good! Soti's is another good one, that seems to be less popular, but it works.

Cool! I love how it lets you "view" while doing something else. ;D So after I post my updated eggies/hatchies, I do the view thing there. Since views are more important than clicks, it works great for me.

i think the DCFansite, Eggs Will be Dragons and Soti all let you "give views while doing something else" :)

Yeah? I'll ahve to check that out next timr I go there. Thanks! I usually use soti's since the one time I had my babies up "everywhere" they got dick & I had to fog them for a day. I was so sure I ahd "killed" them...^^;

welcome !i knew the sunrise/set was dependent on the time of day, but i thought it was from like midnight to noon; and noon to midnight. i had no idea there were times they just wouldn't hatch.....
