First Wave ran from sept 98 - feb 01 on Space. SciFi screwed with it, and it ended up running from jan 99 to sept 01

one of the things that made FW special in tv land was that space/scifi saw the pilot episode, Subject 117, and decided not to do the test half-season to see how ratings were, and instead decided, apparenly unprecedented, "we'll take three seasons."

but now that they had 66 episodes, they tortured us US viewers to evil hiatuses and reruns. needless to say, i got my eps from a very wonderful source who got copies of the eps as they aired on Space -- who treated the show as it should have been -- excellent scifi.... rumor was someone on the staff of scifi hated the show, so they tried to hide it under the rug.

so, enough ramblings, here's my scans from The Ultimate First Wave. the website is still active, but i don't know if you can still order the book. there's alot of interviews and insight into the show, the mythos, the actors and the characters, from interviews with the cast *and* crew!
