Sun eggs hatch only two times a day.
to get a Sunrise dragon, it must hatch between 6 a.m. and 12 noon Cave/Eastern time. this is also:
11 a.m. - 5 p.m. GMT (at the moment, Cave time is GMT -5)
5 a.m. - 11 a.m. Central time
4 a.m. - 10 a.m. Mountain time
3 a.m. - 9 a.m. Pacific time
for other time zones, i like to use timeanddate.com; it's a very cool site for figuring out what time it is where. for an Eastern time zone city, you can use New York, NY, or Washington D.C.
to get a Sunset dragon, it must hatch between 6 p.m. and 12 midnight Cave/Eastern time. this is also:
11 p.m. - 5 a.m. GMT
5 p.m. - 11 p.m. Central time
4 p.m. - 10 p.m. Mountain time
3 p.m. - 9 p.m. Pacific time
i'm saying "at the moment" because the United States has Daylight Savings Time until November 1, 2009; DST may end earlier in other places than in the US.
if it's between noon and 6 p.m.; or midnight and 6 a.m. (Eastern time), these eggs will not hatch, no matter how many views, unique views, clicks or time left it has. i've never seen this, but check out an ER (Soti, EwbD, JadeDestiny, all linked in the comm info right at the start of one of these time frames, and you'll see all the sun eggs hatch.
**if you need help figuring your hatching windows, leave a major city in your time zone, and i'll check it on timeanddate.com for you.**
