Morning Post!
Sep. 17th, 2009 10:22 amHere are my babies:
(Unnamed silvers, no inbreeding OR shared ancestors):

Yuxe:

Dorkface magi egg! Hugely long lineage, too, with NO INBREEDING==>

The other three eggs are caveborns. I've found, looking at the magi egg's lineage (check it out, it goes OFF THE PAGE!), that the best way to keep from accidental inbreeding (child-parent, sibling-sibling) is to keep introducing caveborn dragons.
Whole scroll:

(The frozen hatchling is an inbred Dorkface I picked up off the AP. Besides, I needed a vine hatchie sprite.)
(Azrai, Ororon, and Lakfakaille are all inbred AP rescues. I didn't know they were inbred until after they grew up, though. Remind me never to breed them!) Everything else has a clean bloodline- even the Lineaged/Alt/Rare ones. Most of the rares (except Xevious) are umpteenth generation children, though.
is 7th generation, and that's the smaller of the two. So... unless I get a caveborn, any rare eggs from me are already gonna have a long lineage. I'm happy to share, but I know that such eggs are NOT the most highly sought-after. The Dorkface magi egg is a 14th generation Dorkface. Fortunately, Midas Dorkface is one of its FIRST generation ancestors, with no other ancestors farther back and no inbreeding, unlike many Dorkfaces I see. So. When it matures, I could breed it with a silver (assuming all three aren't going to gender the same), and the resulting offspring WILL be Dorkfaces, with a chance of being Silver, too.
