I don't mind trying to breed this one for you. :) Shimmer breeding has been rather bad for me lately - usually fails/kins or no egg but I can try to bred this little one.

At the risk of sounding stoopid -
how do you know when there is going to be a release?
I just subscribe to the news forum and find out after the fact.

there was a news release in... february, i think. or march. TJ said there would now be a new release the first sunday of each month. i tried to find in on the forum... but it's not in the News section, i think it's buried in the Suggestions section somewhere)

(so now at midnight on the day before, i need to remember to be poised at my computer, ready to strike. i probably won't get them directly from the cave if i'm not.)

THis bronze shimmer is one I caught on the AP so I consider it a lucky catch and don't find passing along its babies :)

Your welcome. :) I caught it as an egg a on the bottom row of the AP with all the other low time/incuhatchable eggs a few days ago. It was probably only the 3rd shimmer I had seen on the AP and I was really surprised I caught it.

It just gendered and gendered correctly to continue the spiral :)

Yeah.

It actually took me about 5 months after they were released to get my first tinsel. I've done much better with the shimmers.

It was about 6 months or so when I started seeing the tinsels in the AP after they came out. I was gifted 2 & caught the third. Then I just bred & caught the small army I have. ;p

I really like the shimmers as they're Eastern type dragons not to mention they're a pretty sprite!

If I get lucky & can catch a gold or silver, I'll breed you an eggie. :D

The shimmer grew up and gave an egg which I'm sending to trystan830 (I used fertility so I don't know if that hleped or not).

Most of the bronze shimmers I have were traded for and I got lucky that all it took was one second gen metal to get 'em.
