Family of Cops 1

The obsession continues. I watched "Family of Cops," the first installment, which was a made-for-TV film that aired in 1995. There are two more installments, I believe; no. 3 is available on netflix, but no. 2 is not. Go figure. At any rate, no. 3 will soon be winging its way to my mailbox.

In the meantime, I offer some screencaps and a few teaser pics. It was a tough job, looking at a very young, earnest, adorable Sebastian Spence for 90 minutes, but I soldiered on.



I tried to get him to turn around but had no luck. And Daniel Baldwin, we know what you're looking at.




He cries just as beautifully as Chad Allen does. And Chad's pretty good at it.



Here he is with his gorgeous partner, about to roust a biker bar.



I'd make a joke about good cop, bad cop, but that's been done.



The scar on his chin and the one above his eye must be makeup, right?

You certainly ask a lot of from your friends. Oh, all right. I'll force myself to look at DSM closeups. It might take an hour or two, but I'm nothing if not thorough.

You're a brave soul, making the sacrifice to stare at face shots of Sebastian for hours, all in the interest of science. I trust it wasn't too taxing?

I'm curious about how Sebastian got them, too. Of course, I have a few as yet unexplored theories as to how Timothy Callahan got them....

It was exhausting. After I posted this, I had to watch Third Man Out for the hundredth time — for scientific purposes, of course.

How did Timothy Callahan get his scars? Oh, the possibilities that should be explored via fanfiction.

if i remember from some of the posts on the scifi bboard about how did Cade/Sebastian get the scars, i think he said they were from a bar fight. or something.

Guh, indeed.

He was certainly a cute young thing, but I think he's aging beautifully.

I've only seen two bar fights, and they were ugly. I can well imagine how he'd get a scar or two.

Thanks for the photos, and your captions. I actually heaved a great sigh more than once looking at the photos. All three movies can be found on amazon. I honestly didn't notice the scars. Can I still be considered a true fan? IB also just came out on DVD and has about a 30 minute "behind the scenes" making of the movie.

You didn't notice the scars, and I thought they were makeup. I think we can still be fans.

"Ice Blues" is pretty terrific. I still haven't watched the behind-the-scenes bit yet.
