Family of Cops 2

I didn't like Family of Cops 2 as much as I liked 1 and 3. Firstly, there isn't enough Sebastian, and secondly, it wasn't as strong a story as the other two. Still, the eye candy was worth it.

Sebastian in Family of Cops !!

I agree with you completely about Family of Cops II. It's just not as good a story even taking out the love for Sebastian. I honestly, don't think I have gone back to watch that one very much, if at all.

It is so disappointing that there were never any extras on any of those DVDS. I mean even "Eve's Christmas" has an extra bit of footage showing interviews with people. Cheryl Ladd has so much class, she just is so lovely in it. (Sorry I know this is about Sebastian, but I had to say it) And it's cute seeing him talk briefly about his family and the holidays in it, but we get NOTHING in those three DVDs for Family of Cops. Oh well.

I probably won't watch it again unless I'm in dire need of a Sebastian fix and have somehow mislaid my Donald Strachey DVDs.

Some extras in the Family DVDs would have been nice. It seems like a standard feature now. Including some filming footage (which I'll bet they still had) would have at least given us something. I can see the actors not wanting to come back (don't know how long these have been out on DVD) and talk about these movies, but even some words from the director would have been cool.

Cheryl Ladd did a great job in that film. I liked her and the man who played Eve's father.

I can't imagine the actors doing any commentary after all this time, and perhaps when the movies were made, doing a commentary track wasn't common for movies or tv movies in particular. I suspect they had a limited budget and not much wiggle room for extras like paying actors for their time to do commentary. I would love to see some bloopers, and any extra scenes of course, but I guess we will have to get our collect fix elsewhere. I really liked seeing Sebastian's scenes with Charles Bronson. I think their scenes together were very loving and affectionate throughout the series.

Even though it's not on the subject of this LJ community, i just have to say again how lovely it was to see Cheryl Ladd age so gracefully in Eve's Christmas. She even played a perfect Grace Kelley in a tv movie some time back. She just seems like she has so much class. I liked the dad as well. They felt like parents. They felt real and loving.

Charles B. did make a good father figure. I wasn't fond of a lot of things he did earlier in his career (too, too violent), but I do like him as sort of an elder statesman.

Cheryl Ladd looked fantastic. She's a good actress, but I think that after she did "Charlie's Angels" few people took her seriously. They should have. She's got the right looks and skills to be an excellent character actress.
