One of my favorite moments in the series of Strachey movies. Says so many good things about the mutual trust and respect in their relationship.

Oh, I think Don knows that he can trust his Timmy. Sometimes I think Don wanted Timmy discover his secret. He always waited so long to shut this box in TMO and in STTS.

That's possible--he doesn't really hide his stuff very carefully. I think he's just that unconcerned because Timmy doesn't snoop. I also think Timmy's wise enough to know that the best information will come from Don on his terms, not if he's confronted with it.

If I were Timmy, that box would freaking kill me with curiosity, but I like to think I'd do the same thing he did. :-) I'm a stickler for my own privacy, so I probably would.

I'm all for privacy. I've never once snooped in my kids' journals, I don't troll their facebook pages, and I've never monitored their internet usage. Makes sense to me that Timmy wouldn't dig around in Donald's private box.
