Celebrity Softball game...

I'm posting this update and going to bed...I'm not feeling well. But watching Neal play helped. :D

His team won 5-2. He pitched one inning (did great) and played short-stop (from what I could see, he threw two players out at first). He also had two base hits. :D

I saw him pitch! But the hosts were seriously bad and after I saw him I closed out of it. He wasn't a big enough celeb for the hosts to give a flip over him. Sad day. But he did look great in his little Dodgers shirt! :)

One of the female hosts did comment on the last hit he made. :D But yeah, they pretty much ignored him even though he was playing really well. You could definitely tell he had some experience playing the game.

I just love the way he would let the ladies get on base though, that was so cute.

It was also nice to hear D.B. Sweeney say that one of the celebrities he was looking forward to meeting was Neal. :D

[smiles] I wish I could have seen it. Didn't get any of the channels the game was on [if they showed the celebrity game at all] and streaming video + 48k internet = does not compute. Glad he kicked butt <3 Thanks for the update :)

It was fun. They acted pretty silly at times too. One of the stars was dressed as a pizza and another had on a McDonald's French Fries outfit. They kicked dirt on the shoes of one of the umps. They even had a fake fight.

When Neal made his first base hit, the first baseman tried to block Neal from getting on base. Neal was laughing about that.
