'Five years later, Edie is a little more self-conscious.' Even more interesting, Edie will have a new hubby, Dave (played by Boomtown's Neal McDonough). 'It's going to be a titillating season,' Sheridan teases. 'Neal is charming, bright and so much fun to work with. [His character] is definitely different and disturbing in an unusual way.' Edie and Dave will also be at the center of the new season's mystery. 'It was nice to learn that Marc Cherry was giving Edie her due,' says the actress of the series' creator. It's about time!"
