Exactly! None of them do. My hubby and I were talking about that last night. We both agreed that the updated, real life feel to it will be much better and will attract people outside the gaming world.

I've even seen some people complain that Bison has a beard. *glad I'm not that loony*

I really WANT it to be good, but as a gamer who's been consistently disappointed with video game movies, I'm really cynical. I don't think the production company has done a particularly good job handling the marketing and so forth. If Neal weren't in it, I would have written it off a while back. I did read your post and I can understand how you feel. I saw The Day The Earth Stood Still because I'm a fan of the original and I hated it.
