Author’s Note: I recently heard the song “Bubbly” by Colbie Caillat and it was just so cute and made me feel all fluffy. So I wrote something based off of it. :) The link below is to the lyrics. I urge you to read them before the story, or to listen to the song. It’s so great!

Hannah woke up to the sound of rain hitting the roof and the window pane, the slight pitter-patter somehow soothing to wake up to. Of course, that soothing feeling could also be coming from the man sleeping soundly behind her whose arm was draped across her middle. He held her securely against his chest and she felt his breath hitting the skin on the back of her neck making her smile. There was so much that was perfect about this moment.
Turning in his arms, Hannah looked at Jensen. He looked so peaceful and it made her smile even more. She leaned forward and kissing him soundly on the lips, coaxing him into waking up. She couldn’t wait for him any longer. His arms tightened around her briefly before he ended the sweet kiss and opened his eyes to look at Hannah.
“Mornin’ sweetheart,” he whispered, a beautiful smile making its way across his face. It was at that moment that she felt the familiar tingling sensation in her stomach. Warmth flowed through her and she smiled brilliantly back at him. His hand pushed her hair away from her face and he kissed her forehead tenderly.
”You’re my bubbly feeling, did you know that?” she asked quietly. Jensen pulled away, an amused glint in his green eyes.
”You’re my bubbly feeling, did you know that?” she asked quietly. Jensen pulled away, an amused glint in his green eyes.
“Oh really? And what is a bubbly feeling exactly?” he asked, his fingers finding the ticklish spot on her stomach underneath her sleep shirt. She giggled and pushed his hand away, hitting his arm in retaliation. He laughed at her reaction before calming enough to wait for her answer.
“A bubbly feeling…it’s…” Her voice trailed off as she closed her eyes and focused on how she felt at that exact moment. “You make me feel warm, safe, content. You make me smile and laugh at some of the most random things, and you never fail to cheer me up when I’m feeling down about something. You give me hope for my own future, and you make me think of our future together. You inspire me to be my best and I like to think I inspire you to be your best, no matter what. I feel like an entirely different person from when we met, and it makes me…bubbly. You make me feel bubbly so you’re my bubbly feeling.”
Jensen saw the love shining from her eyes, small tears starting to gather in the corners. He quickly wiped them away before smiling softly.
“So that’s a bubbly feeling, huh?” he asked. Hannah smiled and let out a small laugh.
“Yes. It is.”
He felt overwhelmed with emotion as he looked at her. He ran his hand over her hair before leaning in to kiss her, trying to convey just how much he loved her through that simple action. Her arms went around his neck and she returned the sentiment. He pulled away and smiled at her, his eyes boring into hers.
“Hannah?”
“What is it Jensen?” She was suddenly nervous as to what he would say in response.
“You’re my bubbly feeling too,” he whispered. He kissed her again. “I love you.”
“I love you, too,” she sighed. They laid there in each others’ arms listening to the soft pitter-patter of the rain surrounding them, but they were safe and warm, snuggled together under the blankets, reveling in the bubbly feeling.
