Chad Allen has committed to participating in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon, a physically demanding event during which he'll swim nearly a mile in the ocean, cycle 25 miles on Pacific Coast Highway, and run 6.2 miles along Zuma Beach. His goal is to raise $3,000 to fight AIDS, all proceeds going to the AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA).

Fans of Chad and the Donald Strachey Mysteries have pooled their resources to present a charity auction of collectibles - many of them personally autographed by Chad or his Strachey co-stars - with all costs of the auction covered.
