Discussion: How Do You Give Views?

if it loads on my flist, i've given it a view. i'll go to the post if it's behind a cut. two of my LJ comms require cuts, so on one i go back to my entry, and on the other i go to the bottom of the first page; open the post. then i use the next arrow and view all the posts until it says there are no more. i rarely click on the Cave sprites, since i know that it's the views that matter. and i view in stealth mode, unless someone asks a question or something.

if i put my sprites on Eggs will be Dragons (or the DC Fansite), i'll have the pop-up windows giving views just about all day long.

i know a lot of this varies person-to-person - i post in 9 LJ comms, EwbD sometimes, and even my own LJ to give a little hatchie a boost.

The second tunnel had more twists and turns than the first one did. It also kept branching off into other directions. It wasn't long before we were utterly lost.

I tried to contact Alabaster, but she didn't know the key to this tunnel and Jasper was busy fighting with the Georgists. I had to rely on the instincts of our little earth dragons to lead us correctly. The problem was that they weren't always agreeing with each other. I had to intervene in several loud arguments.

While the imperative to flee was lessened because the Georgists were being occupied by the wild dragons, we still didn't have time to explore. And I didn't want to split the party up. If we got lost, we all had to get lost together. There was no way I was going to send some of my children and dragons into uncertainty or into a situation that they couldn't handle on their own.

Everyone was getting tired, hungry and grouchy. I brought out what little supplies that we had left and shared it equally amongst us all. It was only the rocks who were able to feast on the stones and minerals in the tunnel.

Little Fels was enthusiastically digging out a stone on the wall of the tunnel. I was too tired to think about the consequences of this. The stone gave way with a clatter and then with a deep rumble. The tunnel was caving in! With my last bit of energy, I grabbed Fels and as many of my children and dragons as I could.
