Since Dragon Cave is down, yet again, I'm only posting my Dragon Adopters and Unicreatures. I'll be back with the DC dragons when/if the site returns. The last outage cost my friend her first paper hatchling and two other dragons, I lost a frill. I wonder what we're going to lose this time.

Now, organizing this would be extrememly simple. You wouldn't even have to sign up. Just agree to two things:

1. From March 16, 11pm TJ time (4 am March 17, GMT) to March 18, 1am TJ time (6am March 18 GMT) you will not breed any dragons. Even your regularly scheduled pairs can wait a day.

2. During that time period you will pick up a mint egg from the abandoned page and at least hatch it. If for some reason you really don't want a mint, any green egg would do. (pebbles, vines and frills)

Now, as to why [she] added in the no-breeding clause. We all know that the abandon page gets clogged frequently. For that one day, it would be less clogged. Also, this means none of us would be breeding more mints to be left languishing there. For those who might be concerned that there wouldn't be enough mints to go around, consider that most people would be breeding as usual. There is never a shortage of mints.

Cave's been up and down all day, and when i finally got on, there was nothing green!! in the end i got an Earth egg, i THINK it has 5 days and something left? can someone tell me for sure? i have NO idea.... and can someone check the eggs and scrolls and make sure I have the earth egg, J has the frill and M has the mint and all the codes match? i'm sorry it's been a real frustrating day. thanks!!!

... need to vent?

it went down last week too - it's almost standard these days. there's a pretty green St. Patty's background, that only like three people can see....

and last time the Cave went down, people lost eggs and hatchies, even with the time that was put back on.

i'm trying to participate in the Adopt-a-Mint (or other greenies) day - i did get a frill for J and a mint for M. but i have until 5 to get mine - i'm still off-line at home. *sigh* i might miss this one too.

Hi! I was able to entry Dragon Cave for one little second, enougth to see my hatchings and 1 of 2 of my eggs, so I'm posting, just in case. Ah! I joined UniCreatures!! And I got a mystery box with a pretty egg inside ^^!  Will be clicking back!!

A little Off topic, I'm writing something... kinda like a novel, and I need a name for a race. Nothings comes up. The race is half dragon, half human. They can change at will, but most of them prefer live as dragon because they hate humans. Any sugestions?

this may be a silly question, but is (was*?) a mint dragon a rare egg when you enter the cave? or...any of the green abandoned eggs?

We went to the back corner of the tavern. I sat with my back to the door so that no one would easily recognize me. Orlando sat facing the door so that he could tell if anyone was looking for me. We sent Donal to the bar to order us some food and drink, so that it would look like we had a legitimate reason to come in here.

While waiting, Orlando and I poured over a map of the town we had purchased. I was trying to correlate what I was hearing from the hatchlings to a potential part of town. But it wasn't working. And we couldn't just wander around town without looking suspicious. I sighed. I so wanted to rescue the hatchlings.

Donal returned with food. He whispered to us. "It is just beef. Not dragon meat. And a decent beer."

He saw the map. "What are you looking for?" he whispered.

"Someplace where they hide hatchlings in this retched town," I whispered back, facetiously.

"Hmmm... If I remember correctly, they are being held in a cave that lies underneath the town, on the west side over here" he replied.

Both Orlando and I looked at him in astonishment.

Donal caught our surprise and then explained. "Many of the potions take the apothecary sold have dragon's blood or dragon's bone or other dragon parts in them. Old Man Baskin usually went and got the ingredients himself. But, lately, he hasn't been well and he would send me to retrieve them."

"ASK HIM TO MARK THE CAVE ENTRANCE ON THE MAP, JUST IN CASE."

So I repeated Orlando's query to Donal, and he did so.

"WE HAVE GOT TO LEAVE HERE AT ONCE. I AM HAVING A BAD FEELING SOMETHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN, IF WE DON'T."

So with a nod, we got up and left the tavener, heading towards the town gate.
