cuts are optional for this comm - i've found out from all the comms i'm on, sprites and clickables behind a cut don't get as much loving as those you can readily see on the comm or your flist.

i've also figured out i suck at polls, so i hope i've covered the main possibilities here. the reason i have the optio for only the DC sprites outside the cut is that they really new the views and unique views - so even if they just load on the screen it counts. clicks are pretty much up to the discretion of the person reading the post. other sprites - pokemon, valenths, unicreatures - they need the clicks, not the views. so...what do you think about LJ-cuts?

comments are totally welcome too. :D

I'm unsure which poll option this fits under, but I'll figure it out and vote. XD

I believe that the Global Pokedex eggs need unique views, like DC eggs. (It says on the top of the GPX page that posting the eggs on other websites will get the eggs views so they can evolve/hatch.) So they need unique views/views/clicks, like DC eggs and hatchlings.

Unicreatures, on the other hand, I believe don't need unique views/views in the same manner as DC or GPX. I think with Unicreatures, it's more like clicking only counts, as opposed to viewing. (Someone who has a Unicreature account can correct me if I'm wrong. I only know what I know from reading the FAQ. XD)

So I guess, in order to save friends lists, the sprites under the cut should be those that don't really need the views, like Unicreatures, which are mainly clickable. DC and the Global Pokedex eggs need the views and the clicks, so they should remain outside the cut. This way, views/unique views are given to those that need them, and clicks are given to those that need them (by those that do them), and the loading times are cut down a bit.

I think for Valenths or any other pets that someone has a lot of (say, more than 15) should be behind a cut to save f-list space, but it doesn't really bother me.

Yeah, if there's a large number of pets that take up a full screen, then it's a bit much. At least the bunny pics weren't huge, so it didn't seem too excessive. Plus, there's a click exchange site now so if that site is used enough there won't be an overload of UC pets.
