My Supernatural Filming Locations List has a new home! :D

It's taken the past several months to update it all and I couldn't have done it without my small team of volunteers. Yay! Thank you ladies! *hugs all around*

there's a new mod post over at a claims comm, partly because i asked, and then i guess they did some digging.

1-members are allowed ONE fictional boy or girlfriend. not two, cause then it wouldn't be fair someone who only has one.
ok, so if i have one and you have two, i can't claim someone else?

2-members are not allowed to share fictional boy or girlfriend. what if 12 people want the same one?
i'm in a fandom where everyone wants Dean, or Sam, or Wyatt or Jeb.... i've learned to share. :)

so... here's my question: if i make a claims comm where you can claim more than one fictional character AND you can share 'em (and maybe just a general fandom claims stuff, so you could claim objects too), would y'all go for that?

raloria and i were chatting, and it seems there's another site out there that hotlinks icons, fan art, vids... even though the blog credits the original post. this is a BLOG - but it HOTLINKS.

EDIT: there's some unofficial stuff here and here too - lots of uncredited ComicCon photographs too!

honestly, why to people do this? all total, i've seen three sites like these, and they've all been in Europe, so i'm just curious - is there something about the language barrier that precludes people like this from asking the creators/artists if they can repost graphics on their own site and give credit? or are they really just that ignorant?

you can look to see if your graphics and what-not are reposted by googling your photobucket URL and see what you get.

so, you know how i'm always saying i'm a sucker for vamps? and i've added Mick to my guilty pleasures list? i've done something about that.....

its_inthe_blood... cause i'm a sucker for vamps. yeah.

and as i say in the mod post over there, "we're not here to compare or contrast, or say "my show is better than yours" - we're here to squee about it! (it's kinda like this comm, but for vamps)."

seriously, if you like vamps - ANY tv show or movie - this comm is for you.

I saw this on my LJ homepage the other day when I logged in: the details are listed out here (link thanks to

raynedanser): Hotmail and a few other mail services (Live/MSN, Cox, Juno, and Netzero) are blocking LJ's IP address, so you don't get the notifications in your email. several people have written to LJ, and, per SOP, they're "working on it."

so... here's a suggestion i've seen: use Yahoo, Gmail, AIM mail... and set it up to forward your email from your new Gmail (or wherever) to your Hotmail. some time ago, I actually just outright switched from yahoo to gmail just for my LJ and LJ-related mail. :D

hope that cuts down on the frustration until this whole LJ/Hotmail thing gets resolved... silly technology.....

ok, i'm pissed. it takes alot to piss me off, but now that i know this site is out there, whoa boy.

i was talking with

raloria earlier, and she said she'd seen a comment in a community where the person used her icon - one that she hadn't posted, or put up for grabs, but yet, it was

demonicangel26's default icon. and not credited, either. the LJ was created 25 april 07, and there are no entries posted, so maybe she's (?) a new user, but has been around long enough to know how to credit an icon.

one snagged icon, maybe. but the website, Deans Demonic Angel Site takes the cake. there are wallpapers, icons, fan art, still photos, promo pics, appearances (Comic Con, Asylum, and A Few Good Men), wallpapers - from EVERYONE and EVERYWHERE!

i saw one of mine - that i'd customized for a friend - and even the customization was posted! SOME icons have then name of the maker in the file name. i recognised icons from

serenitysangel and

justfreefallin/extremefangirl, and an icon from a manip by

digitalwave as well. i signed up with Mulitply (trystan830), and left feedback on her main page, and commented to the icon i made; and there's a link to "Report Abuse," which i did as well - and you know what she did? she LOCKED ME OUT and deleted my comments on her site.

i only looked at the icon pages, so i don't know what all else is posted, but seriously, this person iz in ur journal, steelin' ur art! some of you will see this post a few times; i'm xposting it to my comm, and my fic and icon journals.

and please - spread this around!!
